Throughout the past year, The Pokemon Company has been broadcasting Pokemon: Twilight Wings – a limited anime series that focuses on various trainers and gym leaders in the Galar region. The episodes have only been available on YouTube so far, but that will soon change for many Japanese fans this month!
The Pokemon Company has announced that customers spending more than 5,000 yen at Japan’s Pokemon Center stores will receive a special DVD containing all 8 episodes of the series. Additionally, songs from the episodes will also be available as a soundtrack on the DVD itself!
This limited-time campaign will run for one month, from 25 December 2020 (Friday) – 24 January 2021 (Sunday).
For now, it looks like this will be the only way for anyone to own all the episodes in physical form – as there are currently no plans for a western physical release of the series. We’ll report back if that changes in the future.
