The Pokemon Company has released a new line of capsule toys in Japan.
The lineup features Pokemon ignoring their trainer’s orders, a reference to the obedience mechanic from the games where traded Pokemon who are of too high level will ignore the player’s instructions in battle. Five designs are available, each representing a different phrase that plays when the mechanic triggers.
- “Charizard won’t obey!”
- “Mewtwo pretended not to notice!”
- “Umbreon turned away!”
- “Larvitar ignored orders!”
- “Starmie is loafing around!”
More details on the lineup can be found here.
