The Pokemon Company has announced the scheduled re-opening date for Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo and its attached Pikachu Sweets outlet.

Both locations were closed back in March 2026 following a tragic incident that occurred at the store. The official announcement confirms that both stores will reopen on August 24th 2026, following renovation works to enhance the safety of staff and customers. Entry restrictions will be in place for a period of time following reopening, with more details to be shared at a later date.
