After a string of event cancellations at Pokemon Center locations across Japan, The Pokemon Company has decided to postpone the grand reopening of Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo.
The grand reopening, which was scheduled for March 6, 2020, has been postponed to an undetermined date in April 2020. The grand reopening was postponed in light of the coronavirus outbreak in Japan and the world, as they feared too many people gathering in one spot could be a hotbed for spreading the disease.
