The Pokemon Company has announced the opening date for the newly “power-up” Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, which has been renovated with a fresh new look.
The new Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo will reopen at Sunshine City, Tokyo on March 6, 2020. It features a brand new look of a Pokemon Center from the game:
Other Pokemon sections, such as Pokemon GO Lab., Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe, and Pokemon TCG Station are currently open at Sunshine City.
To commemorate the grand opening of the new Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, the following events will take place:
From March 6 to March 29, 2020, a grand opening campaign called Touch the Pokemon will be held at Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo. The campaign will include many activities, including an event at the Sunshine City fountain plaza on March 20.
During the campaign period, Pikachu, Eevee, and Snorlax mascots will visit Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo everyday!
Receive a Touch The Pokemon sticker by taking a photo at a designated area of Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo and uploading it to Instagram on Twitter with the hashtag #メガトウキョー. Show it to a staff member at the store to receive an original sticker.
