The official Pokemon Center Online website in Japan has announced that it will be starting a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lottery on April 24, 2025 3pm Japan time.

Registrations for the lottery will be accepted from April 24 to May 1, 2025 1:59pm Japan time. Results will be announced from 5pm on May 20 and payment must be made by credit card by 4:59pm on May 26.  The console will be delivered from June 5 onwards.

The only requirement to enter the lottery is a Pokemon Center Online website account. Users that have registered for a long time, and/or those who have made purchases before will be prioritized in the lottery.

It is important to note that Pokemon Center Online will only be offering the Nintendo Switch 2 Japanese Language System (Japan-Only). This means that the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World set will not be offered in this lottery.
