Pokemon Center Plush Dolls Are Now Made In Vietnam

The Pokemon Company has opened a factory in Vietnam to manufacture some of the popular plush dolls for their Pokemon Center locations in Japan.

Previously, The Pokemon Company manufactured plush dolls in China, and soon expanded to Philippines a few years ago to meet demand. For instance, the recent Shaymin plush is produced in Vietnam, standard Zeraora plushies are made in China, and plushies in the Transform! Ditto series are manufactured in the Philippines.

The company’s expansion to Vietnam may be a hint to increasing plush doll sales in Japan, which we rarely get sales data for.
