A new type of plush will be heading to Pokemon Centers in Japan later this month!
The Pikachu’s Closet series features a single large Pikachu plush.
What’s so special about this plush is you can dress it up in different costumes. You buy the plush, and buy the other costumes separately.
Two costumes will be available at launch. The first costume is a pyjamas set, and the second is an autumn set.
As you can probably tell, the Pikachu’s Closet plush and costumes don’t look like your ordinary Pokemon plushies released at the Pokemon Center. Due to the high quality materials used and premium design, we’re looking at the following prices (excluding 8% sales tax):
Pikachu Plush: 3500 yen
Pyjamas Set for Pikachu Plush: 3200 yen
Autumn Set for Pikachu Plush: 3800 yen
Yes, there will be cases where the costume actually costs more the plush.
The Pikachu’s Closet lineup launches at Pokemon Centers in Japan on August 26, 2017. Once they are available for pre-order online, we’ll post up a new article!
