In the last few weeks we have been sharing with you about the various ways Warner Bros. and The Pokemon Company are promoting Pokemon Detective Pikachu in Japan, Singapore, and the United States.
It seems that the companies have gone one step further with their marketing in Japan. To grab the attention of commuters, Detective Pikachu plushies manufactured by Takara Tomy are being attached to the ceilings of various trains all across Japan.
Accompanying the plush are signs that read “It may look cute on the outside, but in reality he has the personality of a middle-aged man!”:
