A few years ago, The Pokemon Company released a TV commercial and official website for a campaign called Pokemon Rescue. The campaign was to educate players about transferring their Pokemon from old Pokemon games to new Pokemon games on 3DS.
Although the official Pokemon Rescue website and videos were taken down in March 2018, other Youtube channels have a copy of the original video, and those videos have become a place for Pokemon fans supporting #BringBackNationalDex to air their views:
“WHERE IS THIS GAMEFREAK? CANT SEE ANY OF THIS IN THE GALAR REGION”
“Game Freak, You forgot this?”
“only gonna rescue 400 pokemons?”
“Guess they’re out of a job now…”
“We need them now more than ever.”
“You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain.”
