The Pokemon Company has announced Pokemon Fossil Museum, a travelling exhibit that combines Pokemon and paleontology, for Japan.
This unique exhibition aim to teach visitors about paleontology by combining real life fossils with the fossil Pokemon featured in the games. It will first appear on July 4th at the Mikasa City Museum in Hokkaido, where it will remain until September 20th 2021. Visitors must make reservations ahead of time to attend.
Following September 20th, the exhibit will move to Shimane, then Tokyo, and finally Aichi. Although the dates and venues for these locations have yet to be revealed, it seems the plan is for the exhibit to run until Summer 2022.
