Pokemon GO Compatibility Coming Soon To Pokemon HOME, Will Include Gigantamax Melmetal Gift

Earlier today during the Pokemon Sword And Shield Expansion Pass update presentation, the Pokemon Company revealed more details about Pokemon GO compatibility for Pokemon HOME.

The feature will allow players to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME, and is apparently coming “soon” to both apps. In addition, transferring Pokemon using this link will unlock the following features:

• In Pokemon GO, players will be able to use the Mystery Box to capture Meltan.
• In Pokemon HOME, players will receive a Gigantamax Melmetal as a Mystery Gift. At the time of this writing, there is no other known way to obtain Gigantamax Melmetal aside from this method.
