Pokemon GO Made 2 Billion Dollars In 811 Days

Mobile analytics firm Apptopia has published a report on Pokemon GO’s in-app purchases.

According to the company, it took 811 days for Pokemon GO to make USD2 billion through in-app purchases since launch. It’s the third fastest smartphone app to hit this milestone. Pokemon GO took 302 days to make USD1 billion.

We also have a look at how lifetime in-app purchases revenue and lifetime downloads are broken down. While Japan and the United States contribute the bulk of the revenue, 21% of lifetime downloads come from the United States, and Japan is nowhere to be found in the lifetime download charts. This shows the purchasing power of those living in the US and Japan.
