Mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower has published a report on Pokemon GO, just in time for its 2nd anniversary.
According to the report, players are spending 2 million dollars a day in Pokemon GO, even though it has been 24 months since it first launched. Player spending has reached USD1.8 billion thanks to that.
Sensor Tower has done a breakdown on the top 5 countries which have spent the most money on Pokemon GO. The United States came in first place, followed by Japan, Germany, Great Britain, and Taiwan. 58% of revenue came from Google Play, while 42% is made up with the App Store.
Although Pokemon GO is no longer the No. 1 earning app in the world, it is still a top 10 app by revenue. Pokemon GO grossed USD70 million worldwide in June 2018 alone.
