With a weather system, as well as, extreme weather warning being included in Pokemon Go a while back. Some users might find themselves irritated at the fact that they can’t reap the full benefits of weather features due to the game’s over the top sensitive “extreme conditions” benchmark (all in the name of safety).
However, with the latest update, players can choose to declare that they are safe and continue to reap weather benefits even if the game deems the weather to be extreme. Still, this does not remove a hurricane or a thunderstorm and players should definitely avoid playing in areas experiencing such weather, but as long as you’re safe, Pokemon Go is not going to stop you now.
