Niantic and The Pokemon Company have confirmed official details for the Game Awards 2020 tie-in event for Pokemon Go.
During the event, Wooper will appear more frequently in the wild, with a chance of them being shiny. Team Rocket GO grunts will also take over PokéStops more frequently, and may also use Shadow Wooper in battle.
As reported previously, the tie-in event will start at the same time as the Game Awards show on December 10th at 4pm PST and run until December 11 4pm PST.
