Longtime Pokemon fans may remember the mysterious Pokemon statues that appear at the entrance of the gyms in the original Game Boy Pokemon games, which depict a generic monster design that does not quite match up to any existing Pokemon to date.
Now, Bandai has decided to release some merchandise based on these iconic statues, specifically a set of salt & pepper shakers. The shakers perfectly recreate the statues’ designs from the games, from the square pedestal to the unidentified Pokemon sitting on top. They will be available for pre-order from now till October 4th on Bandai’s online store, with an expected release date of February 2022.
