The Pokemon Company has added a new feature to Pokemon HOME.
This feature allows players to earn medals in the game by completing in-game tasks or attending special in-person events. These medals are similar to Pokemon in that they can be traded or gifted to in-game friends, and are unique based on type and language. Free Pokemon HOME users can collect up to 30 medals, while paid members can collect up to 1000. To kick things off, all current players will receive 3 copies of a medal featuring one of the 9 starter trios, so as to encourage trading and gifting medals with other players.
