Pokemon HOME June Update Will End Compatibility With Some Android And iOS Devices

The Pokemon Company has released an important announcement regarding the Pokemon HOME mobile app.

The notice was released via Pokemon HOME‘s in-app news section, explaining that the upcoming June update will be ending support for the following mobile operating systems and devices:

  • Android 5
  • iOS 9
  • iOS 10
  • iOS 11
  • iPhone 5s
  • iPhone 6

This means that players who are using any of the above operating systems or devices may not be able to use the app. Affected players may want to consider linking their Pokemon HOME app to a Nintendo account to avoid losing their data when switching devices.
