The Pokemon Company has announced and confirmed the existence of a bug found in the iOS version of Pokemon Home.
According to the company, the bug happens when the user attempts to connect their Pokemon Home account to their Nintendo Account. After the user fills in their user name and password through a password manager app, upon returning to Pokemon Home, a “failed to connect” error message will appear.
As of February 12, 2020, The Pokemon Company is working on a patch to fix the bug. In the mean time, the company recommends users to directly type their username and password to avoid encountering the bug. Please note that this bug does not affect the Android and Nintendo Switch versions of Pokemon Home.
