The Pokemon Company has announced when they will be adding Pokemon HOME support to the Switch versions of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen.

As announced on the social media, players will be able to transfer their Pokemon from FireRed and LeafGreen to Pokemon HOME on Switch sometime on October 7th 2026 after the app undergoes maintainence from 00:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC. After this, players can update to version 4.1.0 to get access to the new features.
