The Pokemon Company has confirmed the date and details for Pokemon Japan Championships 2018.

The Championships will take place from June 9 to 10, 2018 at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall 11 in Tokyo, Japan (the same venue for Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 if the name sounds familiar). There will be three categories for participants to choose from – Pokken Tournament, Video Games, and Trading Card Game. Each category will have three age divisions – Junior, Senior, and Master.

Top winners of each category’s age group will be invited to play in the Pokemon World Championships 2018, scheduled to be held in the United States this August.
