Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension Physical Release Announced

Pokemon trainers will soon be able to grab a bundled physical release for Pokémon Legends: Z-A and its DLC expansion all in one package.

The Pokemon Company has announced the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension Bundle – a new physical release of the game that includes both the Switch 2 Edition of the base game and Mega Dimension DLC on one game card. As you can see above, the cover artwork will also be updated to reflect the inclusion of the DLC expansion.

This combined release will launch on 29 October 2026.

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you explore Lumiose City, working together with your friends at Hotel Z to tackle all sorts of incidents that crop up involving people and Pokémon. The adventure continues in the Mega Dimension DLC, with an expanded story involving the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa and mysterious spatial distortions that are appearing throughout the city. On Thursday, October 29, 2026, you’ll be able to get the entire story in one package with the release of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle.

This Nintendo Switch 2 release includes both Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and the Mega Dimension DLC on one game card. If you have Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is also playable on that system. When playing the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on the Nintendo Switch system, though, the content will be the same as that of the Nintendo Switch software. Additional features and content that utilize the Nintendo Switch 2 system’s specs will not be included.
