Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee Meltan Distribution Announced For China

The Pokemon Company will be running a special Mystery Gift distribution in China.

To commemorate the launch of Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Let’s GO Eevee in the country, players will be able to use the mystery gift code 20UBA1ME1LUTAN to obtain the Mythical Pokemon Meltan. The code will only work on Switch consoles from China, and will be available from now until April 30th 2025.

Mystery Gift codes in Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee can be redeemed via the following steps:

  1. Launch Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! from the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu.
  2. Press the X Button during gameplay to access the in-game menu.
  3. Select “Communicate”.
    • This option becomes available after you have battled your rival for the first time.
  4. Select “Mystery Gifts.”

Unfortunately, players will not be able to evolve this Meltan into a Melmetal, as it can only evolve in the mobile game Pokemon GO. Transfers from the Switch Pokemon games to Pokemon GO are not supported at the time of this writing.
