As the datamining continues for Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, we now have new and interesting information to report on the Starter Pokemon (officially known as Partner Pokemon) in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
According to the game’s source code, all Partner Pokemon have fixed IVs. In fact, every single IV stat has been maxed out at 31 IV, so you won’t have to worry about resetting your game for IVs.
Despite the good news, there’s one important change from previous Pokemon games – your Partner Pokemon cannot be shiny, regardless of the number of times you reset the game. Game Freak probably wanted every Partner Pokemon to look great with whatever costumes and accessories they have prepared for Pikachu and Eevee.
