Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee Will Not Support Online Multiplayer

During the Pokemon Video Game Press Conference, The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara was asked whether Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee would incorporate online features.

Ishihara answered that there are no plans to include online features in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, so only local multiplayer for up to 2 players is supported on Nintendo Switch.
