In five days, Nintendo will release Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, the first core Pokemon RPG for Nintendo Switch.
Now is a good time to see how pre-orders are performing for the game. As of November 11, 2018, the Amazon Japan video game bestseller charts look like this:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu Poke Ball Plus Set
- Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu
- Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee
- Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee Poke Ball Plus Set
- Fallout 76
Based on this, we can tell that Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee pre-orders are performing well. However, it hasn’t managed to overtake Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which seems to be the hottest Nintendo Switch game of 2018.
On Amazon US however, things aren’t looking as good as Amazon Japan:
1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
6. Super Mario Party Joy-Con Bundle
9. Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu Poke Ball Plus Set
13. Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee Poke Ball Plus Set
16. Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu
21. Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee
Nevertheless, despite the weaker performance, it’s a great improvement from what happened earlier this year.
