As we can see, Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee managed to top the charts in Japan that month! The game also managed to out sell huge third party titles such as Battlefield V, Black Ops 4, Fallout 76 and even Super Mario Party!
This means The Pokemon Company sold more games during November than Nintendo as we can see here:
Pokemon Co. – 844.000
Nintendo – 326.000
Sony Interactive Entertainment – 129.000
The Nintendo Switch console itself also dominated the sales that month with it selling 388,000 units which is twice as many sold in October! This means the sales increased by 223.5% which was likely because of the release of a new Pokemon game as the series is very big in Japan.
Hopefully Nintendo will manage to meet their target of 20 million Nintendo Switch units by the end of this financial year as we reported on earlier here.
If we have any more information to share we will cover it here at Nintendo Soup so stay tuned for more!
