Surprising probably no one, DeNa and The Pokemon Company’s latest mobile game venture is a massive success worldwide.
As reported by Venturebeat, analyst firm Sensor Tower has published its first batch of data regarding Pokemon Masters‘ performance during the first few days of its global launch.
The firm reports that Pokemon Masters is now the Number 1 most downloaded app on iOS in over 27 countries, including the US and Japan. Furthermore, it is also the highest grossing app in terms of revenue in Japan and Hong Kong, although it only managed to hit the twelfth position in the US.
This feat is no doubt thanks to the immense popularity of the Pokemon franchise worldwide, as well as being one of the few Pokemon titles to focus on popular trainers instead of Pokemon.
That said, only time will tell whether the game will continue to perform at this level as we move onward away from launch.
