With Pokemon Masters placing such a strong emphasis on the human characters from the games, many fans might be wondering if any of the popular new trainers from Pokemon Sword & Shield will be featured in the game.
Unfortunately, the answer to that question seems to be “No”, at least not at launch. This information was confirmed to USGamer by marketing director Derrick Kuan. That said, he did mention that it is possible they will be added as part of an event when Pokemon Sword & Shield launches in November, but this is not set in stone. Should such an event be confirmed however, we will be sure to bring the latest details.
Pokemon Masters is scheduled to launch sometime in Summer 2019 for Android and iOS devices. However, a special preview version of the game will be launching later this week for Android in Singapore.
