A new Pokemon park is scheduled to open in Universal Studios Orlando in 2020.
According to Josh Young, a blogger at Theme Park University who has many sources in Universal, the Pokemon park will be added to the area where KidZone currently is.
KidZone was originally intended to make way for Super Nintendo World. Super Nintendo World has been relocated across the street to the 400 acres of land near Kirkman Avenue that Universal recently purchased.
Young says the Pokemon park is due to open in 2020, followed by Super Nintendo World in 2023. Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Japan in 2020, just in time for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
