Pokemon Pokopia Debuts At No.2 On UK Boxed Charts, Physical Release Was “Seriously Undersupplied”
The GFK has published their list of bestselling games in the UK for the week ending in December 5th 2025, giving us our first sales data for Pokemon Pokopia.
According to GFK’s data, Pokemon Pokopia placed 2nd on the week’s boxed charts, unable to beat Resident Evil Requiem which released the week before.
Chris Dring of The Game Business says that the actual boxed sales numbers for the game was barely half of what Pokemon Legends Z-A sold during its retail launch on Switch 2, and that this was because the physical release for Pokopia was “seriously undersupplied” at launch. Evidently Nintendo was not expecting the game’s physical release to be in such high demand, as the physical release is also sold out on many online retailers.
Pokemon Pokopia was seriously undersupplied at UK retail. Its launch physical sales are not even half of what Legends: Z-A did.
