The Pokemon Company has announced a collaboration with Fender to commemorate the franchise’s 30th Anniversary.
The two brands will be teaming up for a pair of electric guitars based on Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green. The Pokemon Red guitar will be a Fender Stratocaster, while the Pokemon Green guitar will be a Telecaster. Aside from being themed after the two games, pressing the “Volume knob” adds an 8-bit sound to the guitar, reminiscent of the classic Pokemon titles. They will both be on sale via lottery on Pokemon Center Japan from November 19th, 2026 (Thursday) 12:00 to November 24th, 2026 (Tuesday) 16:59 JST.
