Nintendo has published their latest earnings report for the nine months ending December 31st 2023, which reveals that Pokemon Scarlet And Violet have crossed another major milestone.
According to Nintendo’s figures, the latest entries in the Pokemon franchise have crossed 24.26 million units sold. As pointed out by Serebii.net’s Joe Merrick, this achievement has now made it the new third best-selling Pokemon game of all time, dethroning Gold/Silver‘s 23.7 million units.
That said, with the game’s DLC finally complete, it seems unlikely that Scarlet/Violet will be able to outdo the current top 2 best-selling titles, those being Sword/Shield in 2nd, and the original Red/Green/Blue in 1st. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
