Pokemon Scarlet And Violet‘s Grass-Type Starter Pokemon Sprigatito has made its debut in the long-running Pokemon anime.
As shared by @AnipokeFandom, the Grass Cat Pokemon appeared in a short preview clip for an upcoming anime special starring the Team Rocket trio adventuring in Paldea. This possibly makes Sprigatito the first Pokemon from Scarlet/Violet to make an appearance in the anime.
Presumably, this confirms that the anime will eventually shift to focus on material from the latest games, and that the other members of the Scarlet/Violet Starter Trio will appear in their own shorts following Sprigatito. Stay tuned for more info as it comes.
