Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Teal Mask DLC Will Add New TMs, Clothing Options, And More

Japanese magazine Famitsu recently got an early preview of Pokemon Scarlet And Violet‘s Teal Mask DLC, which is set to launch next week on September 13th 2023.

Famitsu’s article about their preview reveals a number of new details about the DLC, including confirmation of new TMs, clothing options, and other small tidbits. You can check out a translated summary of the key reveals below, via Serebii.net and PokeSuutamie:

  • New TMs include Grassy Glide, Burning Jealousy, Lash Out,  Poltergeist and Toxic. The former four moves were previously Move Tutor exclusive moves in Pokemon Sword And Shield’s Isle Of Armor DLC.
  • More clothing, hairstyles and picnic supplies will be available at the Kitakami Center
  • Picnic table chairs can be rearranged.
  • Completing the Ogre Oustin’ balloon-popping mini-game can reward Tera Shards in addition to Mochi.
    • There are three difficulties: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and you can play with other players to complete it
  • New items will be added, including the EXP Charm which boosts the amount of EXP Pokemon earn.
  • When your Pokémon pose for a photo when you have the Roto Stick, you can also select a song which will cause your Pokémon to react.
    • You can also share photos among friends when connected via a Union Circle.
    • New poses will be added to photo mode.
  • Teal mask is a experience of “high resolution Japanese rural scenery”
