Some evidence from Pokemon Sword and Shield has led some to believe that the games were developed in Unreal Engine.

The Reddit user also added that Creatures Inc, the company that helps to make Pokemon models for the Pokemon games, had put out a hiring call for developers with Unreal Engine experience.
If IanMazgelis’ assumptions are true, Pokemon Sword and Shield would become the first mainline Pokemon games developed in Unreal Engine.
What do you think?
