The Pokemon Direct on June 5 has excited many Pokemon fans to pick up a copy of Pokemon Sword and Shield.
On Amazon.com, the official Amazon website for the United States, the Pokemon Sword and Shield Double Pack has become the No. 1 bestselling product in the Video Game category, with Pokemon Sword following behind at No. 2 and Pokemon Shield at No. 6.
The same is happening across the globe, with Pokemon Sword at No. 1 and Pokemon Shield at No. 2 on Amazon UK, and Pokemon Sword and Shield at No. 1 and No. 3 respectively at Amazon Spain.
If this trend continues, Pokemon Sword and Shield could very well become one of 2019’s bestselling games at launch, similar to how Super Smash Bros. Ultimate did last year.
