Pokemon Sword And Shield Will Not Have Any Form Of Connectivity With Pokemon GO

Game Freak has confirmed that Pokemon GO will not have any form of connectivity with Pokemon Sword and Shield, the next Pokemon games for Nintendo Switch.

This was announced during an Eurogamer interview with Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori. Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, the two Pokemon games before Sword and Shield, had connectivity with Pokemon GO in the form of transferring Pokemon.
