Pokemon Sword Logo And Names Trademarked In Japan

Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. have applied for several Pokemon Sword trademarks in Japan.

The trademarks registered in Japan include the Pokemon Sword English name, Pokemon Sword English logo, and Pokemon Sword Japanese logo. Trademarks are a way for Nintendo and their partners to protect their intellectual property from thieves, so this should be no surprise.
