The Pokemon Company has confirmed that a special story arc based on Pokemon Sword & Shield will be featured in the Pokemon Journeys anime starting this October for Japan.
The Pokemon Sword And Shield chapter of Pokemon Journeys is scheduled to begin on October 23rd in Japan, and will run for four weeks. Unsurprisingly, it will have Ash and Gou encounter Zacian and Zamezenta, with major characters Sonia, Chairman Rose and Oleana also making appearances.
