James Turner, the art director for Pokemon Sword And Shield, and creator of many fan-favorite Pokemon designs, has left Gamefreak to form his own game studio.
The news comes via an announcement on Twitter, where Turner announced the creation of his new game studio “All Possible Futures”. The studio already has its first title in the works, which will be revealed “very soon” with a brand new trailer.
When asked about whether this means he has left Gamefreak, Turner confirmed that he is indeed “no longer” with the company. That said, Turner’s response suggests they left on good terms, stating that he “still loves them” despite his departure.
We here at Nintendosoup wish Turner the best of luck with his new venture, and look forward to covering his new projects whenever they are announced.
