Pokemon Sword/Shield Players Defeated Over 800000 Pikachu In Max Raids, Rewards Now Live

As part of the Pokemon Day Celebrations, The Pokemon Company challenged players to defeat 1 million Gigantamax Pikachu Raids in exchange for various rewards.

However, ccording to official Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, players only managed to defeat 874,808 Pikachu during the event period.

Nevertheless, the Pokemon Company has decided to give away a reward of 87 Armorite Ore & 87 Dynite Ore, presumably to match the number of Pikachu actually defeated. These rewards can be obtained by entering the Mystery Gift menu, and selecting “Receive Via Internet”.
