Pokemon Sword/Shield Shiny Eternatus Event Officially Announced For US, Canada, Australia, And NZ, More Details Shared

Following the Southeast Asia announcement, The Pokemon Company has officially announced the Shiny Eternatus Mystery Gift distribution for Pokemon Sword And Shield in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

From September 18th 2022 till October 1st 2022, players living in these regions will be able to visit participating game stores to get Shiny Eternatus Mystery Gift codes that can be redeemed in Pokemon Sword And Shield. At the time of this writing, the following retailers are known to be participating:

• US & Canada: Gamestop
• Australia &New Zealand: EB Games

We also now have more details about the distribution itself, namely that the Shiny Eternatus will have the following attributes:

Level: 100

Nature: Timid

Ability: Pressure

Moves:

• Dynamax Cannon
• Eternabeam
• Sludge Bomb
• Flamethrower

If you’re not sure how to redeem the code, here are the instructions:

1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Select Mystery Gift on the X menu.
3. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
4. Select Get with Code/Password to connect to the internet.
5. Enter your password.
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. (Pokémon will appear in your party or your Pokémon Boxes.)
7. Be sure to save your game.
