The Pokemon Company has announced astounding results for its Pokemon TCG (Trading Card Game) products in Europe in 2017.
Based on figures provided by NPD Group Toys, Pokemon TCG sales reached €122 million in 2017, giving Pokemon 82% market share in the Strategic Trading Card Game market.
Sales in key territories such as United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy continue to see remarkable growth. TCG sales increased by 42%, 56%, and 644% respectively in those three countries, followed by increase in toy sales by 54% in the UK, 14% in Germany, and 146% in Italy.
