The Pokemon Company has released the official title, teaser image, and premiere date for 2019’s Pokemon movie.

The official title for the movie in Japan is Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. In the spotlight is none other than Mewtwo, as you can see in the teaser image below:

Given the title of the movie, we expect this to be a retelling of the first Pokemon movie, but expect there to be a few twists. Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution heads to theaters in Japan in July 12, 2019 and is expected to arrive in other parts of the world in 2019.
