Pokemon Unite First Anniversary Campaign Announced, Upcoming Playable Pokemon And More Detailed

The Pokemon Company has shared some new details about Pokemon Unite‘s upcoming first anniversary celebration, as well as several new Pokemon that will be added to the game.

The Anniversary Celebrations are due to start on July 21st, and will include the addition of several new playable Pokemon, new modes, Holowear, features and more. You can check out the trailer below, as well as a summary of some of the key details:

• New Playable Pokemon
  • Glaceon will be available on July 21st and can be obtained by completing missions
  • Buzzwole will be available August 4th
  • Tyranitar will be available on August 16th.
  • 3 More Pokémon will follow in September
• New Features
  • A new Boss Rush mode will be available in the game
  • Pokémon Boost Emblems added to the game which give a variety of boosts.
  • A variety of special event missions to earn rewards and Holowear
• Events
  • From July 21st through October 12th there are 5 Login Bonuses:
    • Day 1: Pikachu & Fashionable Style: Pikachu
    • Day 2: Lucario & Concert Style: Lucario
    • Day 3: Blastoise & Firefighter Style: Blastoise
    • Day 4: Snorlax & Bedtime Style: Snorlax
    • Day 5: Sylveon & Checkered Style: Sylveon
  • From July 21st through August 11th, there is a Friend Invitation campaign.
    • This event has you invite friends to play the game for a variety of rewards including Slowbro Holowear, Fashion Tickets, Item Enhancers and more
  • From July 21st through August 5th there is an event that gives you special item rewards if you log in with players who haven’t played for over 14 days
  • From July 23rd to July 25th and August 20th through August 22nd, if you team up with friends and play in Ranked Matches, you will get more points
    • There will be a special BP Special Ticket in rewards which lets you exchange for items and Holowear from the first two Battle Passes
  • From July 21st through September 2nd there will be a special Anniversary Cake Challenge. Collect cream by completing missions and build the cake to receive items including new Holowear for Cramorant and Crustle
  • Ranked Battle Season 5 begins July 21st which includes Tuxedo Style Decidueye Holowear
  • Various Holowear will return in shops or with a 7 Day Login Pack you can buy with 60 Gems to earn more missions for Holowear Tickets and select a Holowear.
