Pokemon Unite Wins Google Play Best Of 2021 Users’ Choice Award In Multiple Regions

Earlier this week, Google announced the winners of their Google Play Best of 2021 awards, which recognize the best apps and games on the platform as chosen by editors and users.

Among the winners this year was Pokemon Unite, TiMi Studios MOBA game based on the Pokemon series. The game was selected as one of the winners of the Best Game award alongside League of Legends: Wild Rift and MARVEL Future Revolution, as well as the Users’ Choice Award and Best Game Changers award in multiple regions. To celebrate, all players will receive Aeos Tickets from December 1st till December 7th.

Given Pokemon Unite‘s lukewarm reception when first announced, this news will likely come as a pleasant surprise to fans who have since come to enjoy playing the game. It will be interesting to see if the game can continue to keep up the momentum as we move into next year.
