Pokemon X Boss Coffee Collab Announced For Japan

Boss Coffee has announced a collaboration with The Pokemon Company in Japan.

From February 4th 2025, Boss Coffee cans with designs featuring Pokemon Trading Cards and Coins will be sold in Japan. There will be 15 card designs and 2 coin designs featured as follows:

• 2020 Pikachu and Eevee coins
• Sprigatito (Battle Partners 10)
• Mimikyu (Snow Hazard 34)
• Tatsugiri (Transformation Mask 112)
• Miraidon ex (Violet ex 37)
• Pikachu ex (Pokémon Card Game Battle Academy 18)
• Jolteon ex (Terastal Fest ex 209)
• Fuecoco (Triplet Beat 17)
• Charizard ex (Ruler of the Black Flame 66)
• N’s Reshiram (Battle Partners 109)
• Quaxly (Triplet Beat 28)
• Koraidon ex (Scarlet ex 50)
• Vaporeon ex (Terastal Fest ex 205)
• Eevee (Terastal Fest ex 125)
• Eevee ex (Terastal Fest ex 126)
• Flareon ex (Terastal Fest ex 202)

In addition, there will also be other merch released to go along with the collab. This includes nine different TCG-inspired pillows, as well as an “evolving” Fuecoco jacket that can change designs to be inspired by Crocolor and Skeledirge. This merch will be distributed via a lottery that fans can enter by scanning a QR code on the cans.

The lottery will only be open until June 6th 2025, after which the winners will be selected as follows:

• Customers who scan a 6-pack of coffee will be entered to be one of 3,000 randomly selected winners for the Fuecoco jacket.
• Customers who scan single cans can be one of 1,500 winners who will receive a TCG pillow, and another 98,500 entrants will receive ¥10 (~.06¢ USD) to their PayPal account.
