Pokemon X Van Gogh Museum Collaboration Card Distribution Reportedly Coming To The Netherlands

Last year, The Pokemon Company held a collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, which included an exclusive “Pikachu With Grey Felt Hat” promo TCG card. However, the card was quickly pulled from the collaboration due to massive crowds swarming the exhibit in search of the card.

According to a report from Pokebeach, this promo card will be making a return as part of a TCG promotion in the Netherlands. Local gaming stores in that region were reportedly contacted by The Pokemon Company, and notified that they will receive 100 copies of the card to give out to customers who spend at least 30 Euros on Pokemon TCG merch. This promo is planned to start sometime in mid February 2024.

Previously, The Pokemon Company made an attempt to redistribute this card on the Pokemon Center Online Store, although Pokebeach’s report states that the promo quickly sold out within three hours of the announcement. At the time of this writing, it is not known whether this latest distribution attempt will make its way outside of the Netherlands. Stay tuned for more updates should they become available.
